- When should I travel to Nepal?
Nepal has two tourist seasons one is spring and other is autumn. Spring season is February to May. Autumn is late August till mid-November. Summer in Nepal receives heavy rainfall which makes trails slippery and dangerous. It's cloudy and rainy so you might not get chance to enjoy the view of Himalayas. During Winter, we suggest you to choose a warm destination. Kathmandu, Lumbini, Chitwan, Bardia National Park are some of the better options. Other places are quite cold and often foggy.

Travel insurance is not compulsory when you are traveling. But, no one can guarantee 100% safety and security. So to be in the safe side we suggest you to take travel insurance.
