Pashupatinath temple to all the Hindus in the world is one of the important pilgrim site. There is a saying in Hinduism that" one can never purify themselves from the bad things they've ever done until they visit the Pashupatinath Temple of Nepal". As it is said, Lord Shiva is the god of gods, one who visits this holy temple of lord Shiva is blessed with good future and peaceful life. Many people believe the almighty Lord Shiva fulfills their wishes and dreams, as a result of which there is continuous flow of pilgrims since last 100 years. This will be a special tour only focusing in visit to Pahupatinath Temple. If you want to extend tour we can customize as your requirement. In this tour we will organize special pooja in the temple. Every morning and evening there is pooja held at Pashupatinath Temple. Evenings arati has many sessions. During aarati hundreds of pilgrims surround the temple just to get one look of Shivalinga which is situated exactly in the center of temple complex. On the other bank of holy river Bagmati, aarati is done by special priest. After the aarati inside temple, outside aarati is started. Many Hindus and non Hindus participate in this aarati.

Day 01: Kathmandu

Our representative will be at airport to receive you. You will see a person standing with our office board with your name written on it. From airport he/she will transfer you to hotel and help with the check in formalities. If your arrival is in the morning then you can visit nearby destination, if your arrival is in the evening or late afternoon then, you can walk around your hotel and explore nightlife of Nepal.

Day 02: Pashupati Darshan

On the 2nd day, you will leave early in the morning so you have to wake up before 5 and leave at 5: 30. Our representative or guide will take you to the temple. Pashupatinath temple is a huge complex so it takes around 4-5 hrs to explore it completely. You will be given breakfast somewhere on the way or packed breakfast at Hotel. Usually, people visit temple without having food so it's your opinion to have breakfast or not. In this excursion, you will be directly taken to the temple. After aarati and visit of temple, you will be taken to Kiratehowr Mahadev. For this you need to hike for half an hour. After visit to Kirateshowr Mahadev, you will descend to Gujehwori temple. This will take you 10 mins only. Gujeshowi temple is one of the holiest shrine where wife of Lord Shiva, Sati's one of the body part got decayed and since then considered as Holy place. During Dashain, we worship Goddess Durga,and in this time if one doesn't visit Gujeshowri temple then his/her Dashain is believed to remain incomplete.

After morning visit and hike we will return to Hotel. After lunch, we have arranged another tour to Bhaktapur. Bhaktapur is the ancient capital of Nepal, rich culturally and religiously. There are temples of Taleju Bhawani, Siddhi Laxmi, Dattrateya Temple, Taumadhi temple, many Ganesh temple and Vishnu temple. Our special Bhaktapur guide who is also local of Bhaktapur will give you a special tour of Bhaktapur Durbar Square.

In the evening, without any delay we will again go to Pashupatinath temple. During evening we will arrange special aarati for you. Many people desire to perform this kind of aarati in Nepal but due to time and money they usually don't perform it. After aarati we will now walk on the opposite bank of Bagmati. You will be transferred to hotel where dinner will be served.

Day 03: Departure

Our representative will transfer you to Airport. If you are leaving in late afternoon then, we can arrange another trip to nearest destination. Hope you will enjoy your time in Nepal and we hope to see you again in Nepal with us.

Cancellation and Refund:

If tour is cancelled due to our personal reasons then you will be refunded full amount. If you cancel trip 1 week before arrival full money will be refunded. If you cancel trip within week of arrival 60% will be refunded. If you cancel trip 24hrs before arrival 80% refund. If you by any misfortune you already arrived in Nepal but cannot continue trip then no money will be refunded. If it is due to health issues or any emergency case, then accommodation cost will be covered by us but no refund will be given.

As this is a very short trip you do not need any special equipment or accessories. If you are visiting in Winter, pack some woolen sweaters and jackets. When you wear clothes in Nepal, its recommended to wear in layers because mornings and evenings is colder than afternoon. In mid-noon you will feel more hot. Kathmandu is nor a hot place neither cold so you don't need bulky jackets and boots. If you are visiting in summer then, pack light cotton clothes or those which you used to wear at home during summer. Carry extra pair of shirts because Kathmandu is quite dusty and the shirt you wore in morning could easily get dirty by late afternoon. Carry umbrella and other basics which you carry normally when travelling.

When should I travel to Nepal?
Nepal has two tourist seasons one is spring and other is autumn. Spring season is February to May. Autumn is late August till mid-November. Summer in Nepal receives heavy rainfall which makes trails slippery and dangerous. It's cloudy and rainy so you might not get chance to enjoy the view of Himalayas. During Winter, we suggest you to choose a warm destination. Kathmandu, Lumbini, Chitwan, Bardia National Park are some of the better options. Other places are quite cold and often foggy.
